Arvon offers corporate partners a unique arts sponsorship opportunity: we run innovative creative writing projects for young people and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, transforming lives through the written word. Our work has a profound effect on the young people that we work with and if your organisations would like to be part of that work then we’d love to talk to you. 

We understand that different companies will want to take different approaches to charitable giving so we offer opportunities to support Arvon in various ways; from financially helping schools attend our courses to payroll giving. We also offer high-profile sponsorship of black-tie fundraising events and our International Poetry Competition which attracts entries from over 40 countries worldwide.

Inspiring young people with the written word

Around 400 young people attend an Arvon creative writing course each year at one of our remotely located centres. About one third of our courses are with young people that would be unable to attend without financial assistance. For companies who wish to support educational activities, we are the ideal corporate partner, as our work has a transformative effect on young people’s lives. What’s more, we know our formula works and that it has been working for over 40 years.

Arvon fundraisers offer the best in entertainment for you and your guests – plus plenty of opportunity to take part in the fun. The most recent event took place at Lincolns Inn on Monday 14th November and featured stars of stage and screen performing for 220 people in one of the grandest venues in central London.
