In 2009, we will also start the first of our Partnership Courses with the prestigious Jerwood Charitable Foundation. Jerwood is known for its support for excellence and innovation in contemporary arts. 12 writers who come on any Arvon Course in 2008 – whether an open course, Partnership or Under 18s -  will be chosen to be mentored for a year in 2009 by a published writer. This one year mentoring will begin with the first Jerwood/Arvon Mentoring Partnership Course at an Arvon Centre in 2009.
