In 2006, Arvon was proud to present Love Letters Act II - an evening of fine food, wine and romance.

Stars from stage and screen recited classic love poems, lyrics and monoloques during a fabulous three-course dinner.

The event featured readings by Saffron Burrows, Trevor Eve, Jerry Hall, Adrian Lester, Art Malik, Sharon Maughan, Angharad Rees and Juliet Stevenson.

Songs were sung by mezzo-soprano Shirley Mason, accompanied by guitarist Daniel Thomas.

During coffee, an auction of literary gems and romantic gifts was held in aid of Arvon.
