Nigel became a member of the Council of Arvon and its Chairman in June 2005

Nigel is an independent strategic advisor to chief executives of publicly quoted companies and of substantial privately owned businesses. Nigel has extensive experience of charity governance and and is or has been a board member of the Almeida Theatre, Dulwich Picture Gallery, James Allen's Girls' School and the City Parochial Foundation, a major grant giving charity, and has served on advisory committees for The RNID and the Wallace Collection
