Sara Routledge formed an addiction to writer’s block at an early age. She weaned herself by taking an admin job with the Metropolitan Police Office and all was well until they waved temptation at her in the form of a coveted writing position on the Police Gazette.
She escaped temptation once again by flying to Greece, where she worked as a waitress before running her own restaurant. Thinking she was safe she let down her guard but before long found she was jotting unfinished thoughts on napkins and order pads.
Deciding it was time to seek professional help she surfed the Internet to find help groups (more commonly known as Creative Writing classes) and thus stumbled upon the Arvon foundation admin position in September 2006. She is still addicted to writer’s block but she doesn’t feel alone anymore.
Sara is fluent in several languages including Cat, Essex and Double Dutch.
