Lyndy Batty was doing just fine treading the boards of theatres in England and her beloved Scotland when she foolishly thought that it might be more fun to stay at home and have babies. Twenty five years later she found herself drawn to the beautiful place in the hills and managed to convince the then directors that she should become one of the team. Three years later and she is still there experiencing all the ups and downs of an Arvon Centre; battling through the wind, rain and snow in winter and in summer marvelling at all that sky. Not a writer at all, but passionate about literature and one never knows! Perhaps she should go on an Arvon Course!
