Kerry has written comedy programmes for Australian television, was Programme Officer for the Victorian Writers' Centre outside Melbourne and has aspirations to grow her own vegetables. She lives with her partner, Peter, and their daughter, Pearl, in Arvon's Shropshire centre - John Osborne's former home - the Hurst.
