Moniack Mhor

Moniack Mhor is close to some of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks, lying three miles from Loch Ness and overlooking the mountains of Strathfarrar and the table plateau of Ben Wyvis. The house and cottage are surrounded by fields of Highland cattle, sheep and llamas, and forest walks are less than a mile away.

The house, a cosy converted steading, has seven single and four shared bedrooms. There is an induction loop and the main work/living space is wheelchair accessible. The cottage has one double room for students, and three computers and printers. In addition to a large fiction library, the cottage also boasts the northern-most branch of the Scottish Poetry Library.

Moniack is 14 miles from Inverness, which has a mainline rail station, bus station, and airport with links to many British airports, including Gatwick and Luton.
