Writing for Children

The Child's Eye

What makes a book appealing to the child reader? Whatever you write, be it picture books, young fiction or teenage, you need to both intrigue and satisfy. Come and learn, experiment, argue and enjoy, as we look at ways of harnessing the power of the imagination, from visualisation to using traditional tales, in the development of plot, character and perspective.
