Laughter in the Dark

Looking at both the half-hour sitcom and the one hour comedy-drama TV formats, the course will give writers a grounding in character development, situation, plot, dialogue, and structure in workshops and practical sessions with the aim of building confidence and giving writers a secure template on which to develop their own work.

Tony Pitts has been a successful actor and writer for fifteen years. He won a Sony award for The Night-class (Radio 4) and his show, The Gemma Factor, is to be broadcast on BBC 3.
