A course for theatre writers who want to create original work, or who want to adapt work from other forms into compelling drama. This course will give you the tools for making drama work on the stage: structure, character, physicality and dialogue. A mixture of workshops and hard work to transform your ideas in to something that will hold an audience.

Tanika Gupta’s plays include: Hobson’s Choice (Young Vic 2003), Gladiator Games (Sheffield Crucible and Theatre Royal Stratford East 2005/06), Sugar Mummies (Royal Court, 2006) and White Boy (National Youth Theatre 2007/08).
Tanya Ronder adapted DBC Pierres novel Vernon God Little, Saint Exuperys novella, Night Flight, and wrote new versions of Lope de Vegas Peribanez, Lorcas Blood Wedding and Ionescos Macbett for the Young Vic.
